There are other game modes that change the rules of the battle, but gameplay mechanics remain the same. A simple random match is won either by destroying all vehicles on the opposing team or capturing the opposing team’s base by staying in it for long enough without being hurt.

The player has control over the vehicle’s movement, firing, and can communicate with allied players and all the other players through typed or voice chat. The player takes control of a single armored tank of their choice and is placed into a battle on a random map. Although the game does involve microtransactions, it does a good job of keeping them balanced. As you play, you’ll earn experience points and in-game currency that you can use to upgrade your tank and buy items. Adjustable on-screen controls make steering and fighting straightforward. Matches are short, with the typical battle going on for under ten minutes.

World of Tanks Blitz lets you choose one of the dozens of tanks from five historical factions - Germany, Britain, Russia, Japan, and the USA - and join a team of seven players to take on other teams. It’s a spinoff of the online game World of Tanks but is designed for faster and more accessible play.
